Stopafterhighspeeddriving. Idleforlongperiods in traffic. Tow atrailer. I you get the overheat warning with no sign f or so: ofsteam,trythisforaminute 1. If youhaveanairconditioner,turn it off. 2. Turnyourheater to full hot at the highest fan speed and open the windowasnecessary. 3. If you're in atrafficjam,shift to N (Neutral). If younolongerhavetheoverheatwarning,youcandrive. Just to besafe, driveslowerforabouttenminutes.Ifthewarningdoesn'tcomebackon,you candrivenormally. If thewarningcontinues,pullover,stop,andparkyourvehiclerightaway.
