equipped.
If
your vehicle has front tires with different
load ratings or tread designs (such
asallseasonvs.on/offroad)thanthereartires,don’trotateyourtiresfront
to rear.
If
you have styled steel or aluminum wheels, your spare
is
full-sized, but
its
appearance will not match your other wheels.
Afterthetireshavebeenrotated,adjustthefrontandrearinflationpressure
as shown on
the CertificationRire
label. Make certain
that
all
wheel nuts are
properly
tightened. See “Wheel Nut Torque”
in
the
Index.
A
Rust or dirt on a wheel, or on the parts to which
it
is
fastened, can
makethewheelnutsbecomelooseafteratime.Thewheelcould
come off
and causeanaccident.Whenyouchange
a wheel, remove
anyrustordirtfromplaceswherethewheelattachestothevehicle.
In an emergency, you can use a cloth or paper
towel
to
do
this;but
besure to useascraperorwirebrushlater,
if you need
to,
to get
