Tiqhten to the Left Tightening Sequence Tighten the nuts firmly in a criss-cross sequence as shown. Rotate the ratchet to the right with theUP marking facing you. For proper torque, see "Wheel Nut Torque" in the Index. Put the wheel trim backon. For vehicles with plastic nut caps, tighten the caps until they arefinger tight, then tighten theman additional one-half turn with the ratchet.
