7 Call Forwarding CALL FORWARDING Call forwarding is useful when, for example, you are working temporarily from another room and want your calls to follow you to that room, or if you want your incoming calls to be forwarded to one of your contacts. 7.1 7.1.1 7.1.2 Internal Follow-me Internal follow-me allows you to redirect incoming calls to another extension within the network. You can use both predefined and new phone numbers. When follow-me is activated, this is indicated in the display, and the Follow-me key is lit. Your phone can still be used for outgoing calls and you will hear a special dial tone when you lift the handset. Ordering Follow-me From Own Phone To order internal Follow-me, do the following: 1. Press Availability, select Follow-me. 2. Enter the extension number of the answering position. Press Done You can also select the number to the answering position from your Contacts. Press more... and Set from Contacts. This option appears only if you have contacts. FollowMeTo and the answering position is shown in the display. When lifting the handset a special dial tone is heard. Canceling Follow-me From Your Own Phone To cancel Follow-me from your phone, do the following: 1. Press more.... 2. Select Disable all diversions, and press Select. Note: Using this procedure will also disable any selected absence reasons. OR 1.
