Navigating the Main Window Navigating the Main Window The main window of Adaptec Storage Manager has three main panels-left, right, and bottom-in addition to the other features shown in this figure. The left panel always shows the Enterprise View; the bottom panel always shows the Event Viewer. Different information, or views, appear in the right panel depending on which component is selected in the Enterprise View. (In this example, the iSCSI Storage Appliance is selected in the Enterprise View, and the right panel displays the Physical Devices and Logical Devices Views.) The Enterprise View The Enterprise View is an expandable tree with three main branches: • The iSCSI Storage branch (see page 53) • The Direct Attached Storage branch (see page 53) • The Network Attached Storage branch (see page 54) If you selected iSCSI Storage Setup when you installed Adaptec Storage Manager, when you first open the GUI, it automatically displays only the iSCSI Storage branch.
