ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 4.0 18 User Guide About the Quick Fix workspace The Quick Fix workspace contains simple tools and commands to quickly fix common problems. If you are new to digital imaging, Quick Fix is a good place to start fixing photos. It has many of the basic tools for correcting color and lighting. Most of the time, you can adjust a photo using adjustment sliders, which take the guess-work out of fixing red eyes, lighting, color problems, and sharpening. A B D E C F G H Quick Fix workspace A. Adjustment sliders The Quick Fix workspace has the following components: Menu bar Contains menus for performing tasks. The menus are organized by topic. For example, the Enhance menu contains commands for applying adjustments to an image. Shortcuts bar Displays buttons for implementing common commands, like Save and Print . Workspace buttons Moves you between the Quick Fix and Standard Edit workspaces. Tools Holds the Zoom tool, Hand tool, Magic Selection Brush tool, Crop tool, and Red Eye Removal tool for editing images. Adjustment sliders Provides sliders you drag to adjust the lighting, color, and sharpness of an image. View menu Choose an option to display the photo you're fixing. Photo Bin Displays thumbnails of open photos. About the Bridge workspace Adobe Bridge is tightly integrated with Photoshop Elements to help you view, find, manage, and organize your photos. It is optimized for quick access and retrieval of photos. You can use Bridge to view thumbnails of images without opening Photoshop Elements. About the Quick Fix workspace
The Quick Fix workspace
contains simple tools and commands to quickly fix common problems. If you are new
