You can have fun with text selection borders by cutting text out of an image to show the background, or pasting the selected text into a new image. Experiment with different options to personalize your images and compositions. Once you commit the changes you make to masked type, it cannot be edited. The type selection border appears in the image on the active layer. To warp type Warping allows you to distort type to conform to a variety of shapes; for example, you can warp type in the shape of an arc or a wave. Warping applies to all characters on a type layer-you cannot warp individual characters. Also, you can't warp faux bold text. To create and use masked type

with text selection borders by cutting text out of an image to show the background, or pasting the selected text into

or the Vertical Type Mask tool

To warp type
