Remove Links Removes the links of the selected resources to the shared location. The resources remain in the project as copied resources; any updates to the master copies in the shared location must be tracked manually. Replace Link Replaces the current link with a link to another shared resource that has the same file extension. Check spelling and find and replace Note: If your project is localized, the spelling checker uses a dictionary in the selected language. Check spelling in the TOC, index, see also list, or glossary When the spelling checker finds an error, you can ignore the word, change it, or add it to the dictionary. 1 Open the component you want to check. 2 Select Tools, and then select Spell Check TOC, Index, See Also, or Glossary. 3 Select a suggested word or type a replacement in Not In Dictionary. 4 Select options. 5 To add a word to the custom dictionary, click Add. In-sync resources

Both the original shared resource and the copy in the project have been modified.

The original resource is not found in the shared location.

Not found in the project

A reference to the resource exists in the project but the resource is deleted from the

project folder. This scenario occurs only in the case of manual deletion of the resource.

Sync

Allows you to update the resource either in the project or in the shared location.

Remove Links

Removes the links of the selected resources to the shared location. The resources remain in the

project as copied resources; any updates to the master copies in the shared location must be tracked manually.

Replace Link

Replaces the current link with a link to another shared resource that has the same file extension.

Check spelling and find and replace

Note:

If your project is localized, the spelling checker uses a dictionary in the selected language.

Check spelling in the TOC, index, see also list, or glossary

When the spelling checker finds an error, you can ignore the word, change it, or add it to the dictionary.

Open the component you want to check.

Select Tools, and then select Spell Check TOC, Index, See Also, or Glossary.

Select a suggested word or type a replacement in Not In Dictionary.

Select options.

To add a word to the custom dictionary, click Add.
