5.1.5 Creating an Intel® 6300ESB RAID driver disk You may have to use another system to create the RAID driver disk from the system/motherboard support CD or from the Internet. 5.1.5.1 Windows® 2000/2003 Server A floppy disk with the RAID driver is required when installing Windows® 2000/2003 Server operating system on a hard disk drive that is assigned to an array. To create a RAID driver disk from Windows® environment: 1. Place the system or motherboard support CD in the optical drive. 2. When the D r i v e r s menu appears, select the RAID driver disk that you want to create. OR Browse the contents of the support CD to locate the driver disk utility. The I n t e l® 6 3 0 0 E S B RAID Driver Disk is located in: \Drivers\6300ESB\Windows 3. Insert a formatted high-density floppy disk to the floppy disk drive. 4. Follow screen instructions to complete the process. 5.
