2.2.4 Viewing and Changing Device Properties This section explains how you can use the WebBIOS CU to view and change the properties for controllers, virtual drives, and drives. WebBIOS allows you to view information for the LSI SAS controller. To view the properties for the controller, click Controller Properties on the main WebBIOS screen. There are three Controller Properties screens. The right figure shows the first screen. The information on this screen is readonly and cannot be modified directly. Most of this information is self-explanatory. The screen lists the number of virtual drives that are already defined on this controller, plus the number of drives connected to the controller. Click Next to view the second Controller Properties screen, as shown in the right figure. Click Next to view the third Controller Properties screen, as shown in the following figure. The following table describes the entries/options listed on the second and third Controller Properties screen. We recommend that you leave these options at their default settings to achieve the best performance, unless you have a specific reason for changing them. ASUS PIKE 2108 2-29
