5.6 Boot menu The B o o t menu allows you to select among the four possible types of boot devices listed using the up and down arrow keys. By using the or key, you can promote devices and by using the key, you can demote devices. Promotion or demotion of devices alters the priority which the system uses to search for a boot device on system power up. Configuration fields include Removable Device, IDE Hard Drive, ATAPI CDROM, and Other Boot Device. Removable Device [Disabled] Allows you to select the removable device to use in the boot sequence. Configuration options: [USB ZIP/Flash] [USB FDD] [LS120] [ZIP] [ATAPI MO] [Disabled] Use the front panel USB ports if you will boot the system using a USB FDD or USB ZIP device. IDE Hard Drive Allows you to select the IDE hard disk drive to use in the boot sequence. Pressing [Enter] will show the product ID of the connected IDE hard disk drive.
