168 Chapter 8: Encoding Video Quality - Specifies the quality of the video encoding operation. The higher the video quality, the more time the encoding takes. Choose Medium, 1-Pass (fastest) to encode the video as quickly as possible; the resulting clip may be somewhat grainy or blocky. Choose High, 1Pass to perform a more detailed analysis of the source clip during compression; the resulting clip will be clearer. Choose High, 2-Pass (slowest) to perform two detailed analyses of the clip; the second analysis will use data from the first to produce a cleaner and sharper resulting clip. Video Dimensions - Set the width and height of the video. Select Custom to define a custom size using the Width and Height fields. If you define a custom size, you can enable Maintain Aspect Ratio to maintain the aspect ratio of the source video. Optimize for - Set the optimization strategy. Choose either Streaming or VBR download, then select the streams from the list. QuickTime TeXML QuickTime TeXML is an XML-based format for constructing 3GPP-compliant timed text tracks in a QuickTime movie file.
