Recommended Settings When encoding with the Flix Exporter in Cleaner, the following settings are recommended: Use host framerate - Select this option. This uses the Frame Rate setting in the Encode tab of the Settings window, and prevents an inefficient combination of framerates. For example, if 15 is indicated as the frame rate in the Encode tab, and 30 is indicated in the Flix Exporter, the resulting clip will have duplicated frames as it will be encoded first to 15 frames, with additional frames added to reach the 30 fps target. MX SWF - Select this option. This produces higher quality results. However, it is not backward compatible so verify that your target audience can accept this limitation. Use host dimensions - Select this option. Since Cleaner does a much better job of scaling video, it is recommended that you do not set values in the Width and Height boxes of the Flix Exporter. Always change the dimensions of the output in the Image tab of the Settings window. Deinterlace - Select this option. Cleaner should be set deliver progressive video to the exporter from the Image tab of the Settings window.
