7 PHONe settings Your phone comes with a selection of settings that you can change to personalise your phone to the way you like it to work. 7.1 Date and time settings If you subscribe to Caller Display, the time and date settings will be automatically updated by the network when you receive an incoming call. You can also set the date and time manually. (NOTE: The Caller Display service only sends the month and date, not the year, so you may still want to set the year.) 1. Press . 2. Press to select CLOCK & ALARM and then . 3. Press again to select SET DATE/TIME. 4. Enter the current month, day and year in the date format set (see 7.1.2). For DD/MM format, enter 16 May 2010 as [1], [6], [0], [5], [1], [0]. 5. Press to confirm. 6. Enter the current hour and minute in the time format set (see 7.1.1). In 24 hour format, enter 1:30pm as [1], [3], [3], [0]. In 12 hour format, press to select AM or PM. 7. Press to confirm. 7.1.1 Change the time format The time can be displayed either as 12 hour or 24 hour. The default setting is 24 hour. To change your setting: 1. Press . 2. Your phone comes with a selection of settings that you can change to

Date and time settings
If you subscribe to Caller Display, the time and date settings will be
automatically updated by the network when you receive an incoming call.
You can also set the date and time manually.

1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
CLOCK & ALARM
and then <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <MENU/OK> again to select
SET DATE/TIME
.
4. Enter the current month, day and year in the date format set (see 7.1.2).
For DD/MM format, enter 16 May 2010 as [1], [6], [0], [5], [1], [0].
5. Press <MENU/OK> to confirm.
6. Enter the current hour and minute in the time format set (see 7.1.1).
In 24 hour format, enter 1:30pm as [1], [3], [3], [0].
In 12 hour format, press <UP/DOWN> to select AM or PM.

4. Press <MENU/OK> again to select
TIME FORMAT

5. Press <UP/DOWN> to select the desired setting (12 HOURS or 24
HOURS) and then press <MENU/OK> to confirm.
