7.4.4 Deregister a Handset This operation should only be necessary if one of your handsets becomes faulty or lost and needs to be replaced. A de-registered handset will have REGISTER YOUR HANDSET on the display. 1. Press . 2. Press to select ADV SETTING and then press . 3. Press to select DEREGISTER and then press . 4. Modify the displayed PIN, if necessary, using to delete digits and the keypad to enter new ones, then press to confirm. 5. Press to select the handset number you want to remove, and then press to confirm, and a confirmation beep will sound. 7.4.5 Change the system PIN code The System PIN is used for registration / de-registration of handsets, setting some functions and for accessing the answering machine remotely. The default System PIN code is 0000. The maximum length of the System PIN is 8 digits. NOTE: If you forget your PIN code, you can reset it to its default 0000 using a handset Reset (see 7.8). 1. Press to enter the Main Menu list. 2. Press to select ADV SETTING and then press to select. 3. Press to select PIN and then press to show OLD CODE. 4. Enter the current System PIN (default 0000) and then press to show NEW CODE. 5. Enter your new system PIN (minimum 4 digits, maximum 8 digits), and then press to show CONFIRM CODE. 6. Enter your new system PIN again and press to confirm it. A confirmation beep is played. 7.5 Block list setting The Block List allows you to program up to 30 phone numbers that you want to block, and for which the phone will not ring nor accept at the answering machine. CALL BLOCKED is displayed on the handset and in the Call Log, when a call is received from a programmed number. NOTE: This function is only applicable if you subscribe to the Caller Display service on your phone line. The call will be blocked if the incoming Caller Display number matches one stored in the Block List. 27

Deregister a Handset

A de-registered handset will have

1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
ADV SETTING
and then press <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
DEREGISTER
and then press <MENU/OK>.

Change the system PIN code
The System
PIN

NEW CODE.
5. Enter your new system
PIN
(minimum 4 digits, maximum 8 digits), and
then press <MENU/OK> to show
CONFIRM CODE.
6. Enter your new system
PIN
again and press <MENU/OK> to confirm it.
A confirmation beep is played.
7.5 Block list setting
The Block List allows you to program up to 30 phone numbers that you want to
block, and for which the phone will not ring nor accept at the answering machine.
CALL BLOCKED
is displayed on the handset and in the Call Log, when a
call is received from a programmed number.
NOTE:
This function is only applicable if you subscribe to the Caller Display
service on your phone line. The call will be blocked if the incoming Caller
Display number matches one stored in the Block List.
