8.3 Message Playback 8.3.1 Using the telephone base 1. Press on the telephone base to listen to the messages. 2. Press again to stop the playback. 3. During playback, you can press the following keys on the base for other operations: Key < >&< > Operation Press to adjust the listening volume between L1 and L5. (A warning tone sounds if you try to increase above L5.) Press to start or stop playback. Press once to repeat the current message from the beginning. Press twice to play the previous message. Press to skip to the next message.  Press during playback to delete the current message.  Press and hold in idle mode to delete all old messages. 8.3.2 Using a cordless handset 1. Press twice or press (recall) when the handset is in idle mode. Your messages will automatically be played back through the handset speakerphone. Press to listen to your messages privately through the handset. 2. The following message options are available during playback: REPEAT: Press < 1 > once to repeat the currently playing message. Press < 1 > twice to play the previous message. PAUSE/PLAY: Press < 2 > to pause the message currently playing, press < 2 > again to resume playing. SKIP: Press < 3 > to listen to the next message. DEL: Press or < 0 > to delete the currently playing message. STOP: Press to stop the message playback. 33

8.3 Message Playback
8.3.1
Using the telephone base
1. Press <PLAY / STOP> on the telephone base to listen to the
messages.
2. Press <PLAY / STOP> again to stop the playback.

During playback, you can press the following keys on the base for other
operations:

1. Press <MENU/OK> twice or press <FLASH> (recall) when the handset
is in idle mode. Your messages will automatically be
played back through the handset speakerphone. Press
<TALK / SPEAKERPHONE> to listen to your messages privately
through the handset.
2. The following message options are available during playback:
REPEAT:
Press < 1 > once to repeat the currently playing message.
Press < 1 > twice to play the previous message.
PAUSE/PLAY:
Press < 2 > to pause the message currently playing,
press < 2 > again to resume playing.
SKIP:
Press < 3 > to listen to the next message.
DEL:
Press <DEL/INT>
or < 0 >
to delete the currently playing
message.
STOP:
Press <OFF> to stop the message playback.
