Load Fail-Safe Defaults Use this menu to load the BIOS default values for the minimal/stable performance for your system to operate. Load Optimized Defaults These settings are more likely to configure a workable computer when something is wrong. If you cannot boot the computer successfully, select the BIOS Setup options and try to diagnose the problem after the computer boots. These settings do not provide optimal performance. Set Supervisor Password Change, set, or disable password. It allows you to limit access to the system and Setup, or just to Setup. Set User Password You can specify both an User and a Supervisor password. When you select either password option, you are prompted for a 1-8 character password. Enter the password and then retype the password when prompted. Save & Exit Setup Save CMOS value changes to CMOS and exit setup. Exit Without Saving Abandon all CMOS value changes and exit setup. 2-4
