Troubleshooting (continued) Problem Unusual noise: thumping sound Possible cause Drum suspension rollers need time to warm up. Unusual noise: Steady vibration Unusual noise: Rhythmic vibration Water is not sprayed into the unit during MISTCAREt cycles Dryer is not level. Laundry balled up causing load to bounce. Water tap(s) not turned on. AQUASTOP Hose safety feature activated. Blocked nozzle Remedial action No action required. As suspension system rollers warm up thumping will decrease and should stop within 2 to 3 minutes of dryer use Level the dryer (see user manual section Installation Instructons" Stop dryer, separate load items, restart dryer. Turn on water tap. Confirm activation of AQUASTOP Hose by visual inspection of red indicator in hose (see page 8). If red indicator shows (hose is activated) replace hose. Remove the nozzle using a 7/16 inch socket wrench. Place the nozzle into a container filled with enough white vinegar to cover the nozzle. Allow the nozzle to soak for five minuntes, then scrub the nozzle tip gently with a toothbrush to remove residue. Rinse the nozzle and reinsert it back into the dryer and hand tighten, then tighten 1 additional turn with the wrench. SERVICE and REPAIR d WARNING WARNING - Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause improper operation that could cause serious damage to the appliance or personal injury. Verify proper operation after servicing. The Bosch dryers require no special care other than the care and cleaning noted above. i If you are having a problem with your dryer, please refer to the troubleshooting table on page 25, before calling for service. If service becomes necessary, contact your dealer or installer or an authorized service center. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Any work performed by unauthorized personnel may void the warranty. If you are having a problem with your Bosch dryer and are not pleased with the service you have received: - First, please contact your installer or the Bosch Authorized Service Contractor in your area and explain to them why you are not satisfied.
