Creating Lettering 43 Adjusting the Width of Text The Width of text items can be adjusted using the Width Handle. This handle is on the bottom, right of the design and it appears as a green arrow pointing right. If you drag this handle, you will be able to adjust the width of the design, but you will not be able to change the height. If you want to adjust the height of a design, it can be done in the Height box in the Text tab. Enter the new size and click Apply. Adjusting the Corners of Text Segments The corners of text items can be adjusted up or down using the Corner Handles. These handles are available only for Normal Text frames and the Monogram Text frames. The Corner Handles are at each corner of the text segment, and they are pink in color. Their purpose is to adjust the vertical position of each corner. Using the corner handles, you can create text that appears as if it is going up or down hill.

To create normal text:	36
1 On the Ribbon, select the Home tab.	36
