Creating Lettering 49 The Kerning Handles are the blue diamond-shaped handles that appear between each letter. These handles move horizontally and can be dragged to adjust the space between each letter. If you move a kerning handle in the middle of a word, you adjust the space between those two letters. So, if you add space, you will see the whole length of text expand by this amount. The spacing between each of the other letters remains the same. Moving Individual Letters Individual letters can be moved using the Letter Handles. The Letter Handles are the blue squares which appear in the center of each letter. You can click on the letter handle to activate individual letter size and rotation handles, or you can drag the letter handle to adjust the letter position left, right, up or down. Resizing Individual Letters Letters can be individually resized using the Letter Size Handles.

To create normal text:	36
1 On the Ribbon, select the Home tab.	36
