Creating the Print Server Object 2 Click the Create button. If you are in remote printer mode, you can also select the Print Server that is already created. For the procedure, refer to the online Help file. The Input Name dialog box is displayed. 3 Click the Select button. 4 In the Select Object dialog box, select the server to create the object, and click the OK button. 5 Check that the selected object name is displayed in server of the Input Name dogleg box, enter the print server name in Name, and then click the OK button. Example: BRN_4000F4 The Print Server name will be entered in Print Server of the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog box. Creating Printer Object 6 Click the Create button. The Input Name dialog box is deployed. 7 Enter the printer name at Name, and click the OK button. Example: BRN_4000F4-P The Printer Name will be entered in Printer name of the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog box. Creating Print Queue Object 8 Click the Create button. The Input Name dialog box is displayed. 9 Enter the print queue name and click OK. Example: BRN_xxxxxx-Q The queue name will be entered in Queue Name of the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog box. 10 When the print server, printer and queue are all set, click the OK button. You can specify users that can be connect to the queue by clicking the User button. 11 Check that the settings specified in the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog box are entered in the NetWare tab of the Configure dialog box as follows: 6 - 5 NOVELL NETWARE PRINTING

button.

print server name in Name, and then click the

The Print Server name will be entered in Print Server of the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog
box.

button. The Input Name dialog box is deployed.

Enter the printer name at Name, and click the OK button.
Example: BRN_4000F4-P
The Printer Name will be entered in Printer name of the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog box.
Creating Print Queue Object

Create
button. The Input Name dialog box is displayed.

Enter the print queue name and click
OK
.
Example: BRN_xxxxxx-Q
The queue name will be entered in Queue Name of the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog box.

When the print server, printer and queue are all set, click the
OK
button.
You can specify users that can be connect to the queue by clicking the User button.

Check that the settings specified in the NetWare Print Environment Settings dialog box are entered
in the NetWare tab of the Configure dialog box as follows:
