Utility Stitches IMPORTANT • When sewing, be sure that the needle does not touch the button. Set the sewing speed controller to the left (so that the h speed will be slow), then start sewing. Sew straight stitches up to the zipper opening. b With the right sides of the fabric facing each other, sew reverse stitches after reaching the zipper opening. 1 Reverse stitches 2 End of zipper opening a b The machine automatically stops after sewing reinforcement stitches. • Do not press (Thread cutter button). Use scissors to cut the upper thread and the bobbin i thread at the beginning of the stitching. Pull the upper thread at the end of the stitching to the wrong side of the fabric, and then tie it with the bobbin thread.
