Custom Picture Settings Available Custom Picture Settings [ ! For details, refer to Preset Picture Settings (A 129). [Off]: Select this setting when you want to set a different combination of custom picture settings with the individual custom picture settings described below. [Canon Log 3], [Canon Log], [Wide DR], [Normal 1 (Standard)], [Normal 2 (x4.0)], [Normal 3 (BT.709)], [Normal 4 (x5.0)] 133 Output Output Output Normal 4 Normal 3 Normal 1/2 Input Normal 1 Wide DR Canon Log Input Changes the overall look of the image. [Canon Log 3]: Logarithmic gamma curve that keeps the characteristics of the [Canon Log] setting while expanding its dynamic range. Requires image processing in post-production. [Canon Log]: Logarithmic gamma curve that obtains an impressive dynamic range. Requires image processing in post-production. [Wide DR]: Gamma curve with a very wide dynamic range. Optimized for playback on TV monitors. [Normal 1 (Standard)]: Standard picture for playback on TV monitors. [Normal 2 (x4.0)]: Setting suitable for playback on TV monitors. Produces brighter highlights (bright areas of the image) than with the [Normal 1 (Standard)] setting. [Normal 3 (BT.709)]: Setting suitable for playback on TV monitors. Produces a more faithful black gradation in the shadows (dark areas of the image) than with the [Normal 2 (x4.0)] setting. [Normal 4 (x5.0)]: Setting suitable for playback on TV monitors. Produces even better black gradation in the shadows (dark areas of the image) than with the [Normal 3 (BT.709)] setting. [Cinema EOS Original]: Color matrix developed by Canon, designed to reproduce the 4K output of an EOS C500 camera using the BT.709 color space. [Video]: Reproduces the colors of an EOS C300/EOS C500 camera with no custom picture settings applied. [Off]: Colors are not adjusted.
