Operate the Camera You can get control of the camera and change the camera angle or adjust the video quality while viewing live video. Set the Camera Angle  Use the Pan/Tilt/Zoom Feature in the [Camera Control] Dialog Box Click the [Camera Control] button on the toolbar to open the camera control dialog box. 1 Click the video window for the camera you want to control. 6 Monitor Video with the Viewer 2 Click [Window] > [Camera Control] to display the [Camera Control] dialog box. 3 Click the [Control]/[Release] button to get control of the camera and then operate the camera. ■ Pan (horizontal) / Tilt (vertical) Move the camera in the direction of the arrow for cameras that can be panned and titled. Click in the center to point the camera to the front. ■ Control / Release button Obtain camera control privileges. All camera control buttons are activated when camera control privileges are obtained. ■ Zoom slider Drag to zoom. ■ Area Zoom / Drag to Move Click to switch between options. switching button ■ [Advanced] button You can adjust camera image quality settings using Smart Shade Control and Night Mode (P. 133). ■ [Select Preset] button Select from angles preset on the camera. ■ Viewer PTZ button Displays a region of the camera video, zoomed in to fill the video window. ■ Panorama display button Change the camera angle by specifying a position on the camera's panorama image. Note • If the camera is idle for one minute, camera control is released automatically. A count down message is displayed 10 seconds before the release. If you want to keep control of the camera, operate the camera or click [Advanced] before the countdown ends. • If you want to move the video window while you are in control of the camera, drag the title bar. • You can also control the camera while recording. If the camera angle to be used during recording has been set, the camera returns to the set position when the Viewer releases camera control. • You must first configure the presets on the camera before using this feature. For details, please refer to the camera manual. When digital PTZ positions are registered in the camera's presets, set the video format to [Digital PTZ (JPEG)] (P. 123). You can get control of the camera and change the camera angle or adjust the video quality while viewing live video.
Set the Camera Angle
Use the Pan/Tilt/Zoom Feature in the [Camera Control] Dialog Box
Click the [Camera Control] button on the toolbar to open the camera control dialog box.
Note
If the camera is idle for one minute, camera control is released automatically. A count down message is displayed 10 seconds
before the release. If you want to keep control of the camera, operate the camera or click [Advanced] before the countdown ends.
If you want to move the video window while you are in control of the camera, drag the title bar.
You can also control the camera while recording. If the camera angle to be used during recording has been set, the camera
