Configure the Video Window Layout You can place a video window anywhere in the viewing area by dragging it to the desired location. You can save the size and position of a video window in the Viewer as a layout. The following special layouts are also provided: • Dynamic layouts RM-64/25/9 Specify criteria, such as camera tags and events, to only display video windows that meet the criteria. You can also select a pre-defined dynamic layout. • Layout Sequences RM-64/25/9 Sequence through multiple layouts you have created at a certain time interval. Note When the Viewer launches, it displays the layout that was being displayed when the program last ended. A new layout with the name "Untitled" is opened the first time the Viewer is launched. You can save the layout with a name after you place a video window. Apply the Layout When you select a pre-installed layout or a layout you saved yourself from the [Layouts] menu, the video windows will be displayed in the selected layout. • [Simple Layout] is a layout that is automatically created based on the number of cameras registered on each recording server group. The viewing area is split based on the number of registered cameras. Therefore, even when the viewing area split layout is 6x6, video from only 32 cameras will be displayed. • [Simple Layout] does not display video from cameras in different storage server groups. • [Simple Layout] is created when you connect to the storage server group to which the cameras are registered for the first time, and it splits the viewing area according to the number of registered cameras and the size of the Viewer window. • If you want to update the [Simple Layout] after adding cameras, for example, delete or rename [Simple Layout], connect to the storage server group again, and then select [Simple Layout] again (P. 131).
