Setting the Administrator Password, LAN, IPv6, DNS, etc. (Network) LAN (1) [IP Address Setting] Select [Auto (DHCP)] or [Manual] as the address setting mode. If [Auto (DHCP)] is selected, the values automatically acquired from the DHCP server will be entered in [IP Address], [Subnet Mask] and [Default Gateway Address]. If [Manual] is selected, directly enter the values appropriate for the environment in which the camera is used. (2) [IP Address] If [Manual] was selected in (1), enter a fixed IP address. (3) [Subnet Mask] If [Manual] was selected in (1), enter the subnet mask specified for each network. (4) [Default Gateway Address] Enter an appropriate value if [Manual] was selected in (1). Be sure to set the default gateway address when connecting the camera to a subnet different from that of the viewer. (5) [LAN Interface] Select [Auto], [Full Duplex] or [Half Duplex]. Normally [Auto] should be used. (6) [Maximum Packet Size] Enter the maximum transmission unit. Normally the default setting of 1500 needs not be changed. 1-8
