Configuring Firewalls to Optimize Communication On the firewall, open these ports. These ports should allow incoming connections to the machine where the base product is running. The sections that follow describe the file names, locations, and required syntax for the configuration files, and the communication ports used on the client system and the CA ARCserve Backup server system.
