Refer to one of the following sections for information about how to install CA ARCserve Backup into a cluster-aware environment: ■ For MSCS, see Deploy CA ARCserve Backup Server on MSCS (see page 138). ■ For NEC CLUSTERPRO, see Deploy CA ARCserve Backup Server on NEC Cluster (see page 158). 2. Verify the installation. How to Verify a Cluster-aware Installation To ensure that your CA ARCserve Backup installation functions properly, complete the following tasks: 1. Open the CA ARCserve Backup Manager Console on the primary server. Ensure that you can view database information and Activity Log data in the Job Status Manager. 2. Open the Database Manager and the Job Status Manager. Ensure that you can view database information and Activity Log data. 3. Open the Device Manager. Ensure that the Device Manager detects all devices attached to the primary server and all member servers.
