Getting Started Starting the D-Link Embedded Web Interface Starting the D-Link Embedded Web Interface Notes • Disable the popup blocker before beginning device configuration using the EWS. This section contains information on starting the D-Link Embedded Web interface. To access the D-Link user interface: 1. Open an Internet browser. 2. Ensure that pop-up blockers are disabled. If pop-up blockers are enable, edit, add, and device information messages may not open. 3. Enter the device IP address in the address bar and press Enter. The Enter Network Password Page opens: Figure 14: Enter Network Password Page 4. Enter your user name and password. Notes • The device is configured with a user name that is admin and a password that is blank, and can be configured without entering a password. • Passwords are case sensitive. • To operate the device, disable all pop-ups with a popup blocker. 5.
