www.dell.com | support.dell.com Working With Contacts The MSN Messenger window shows all of your messenger contacts at a glance, divided into Online and Not Online categories. From this view, while connected, you can chat, send an e-mail, block the contact from chatting with you, or delete contacts from your list using the pop-up menu. NOTE: If you already use MSN Messenger on your computer, your contacts show up on your device without having to be added. To see others online without them seeing you, tap Tools→ My Status→ Appear Offline. If you block a contact, you appear offline but remain on the blocked contact's list. To unblock a contact, tap and hold the contact, and then tap Unblock on the pop-up menu. Chatting With Contacts • Tap a contact name to open a chat window. Enter your message in the text entry area at the bottom of the screen or tap My Text to enter a preset message, and then tap Send. • To invite another contact to a multiuser chat, tap Tools, tap Invite, and then tap the contact you want to invite. • To switch back to the main window without closing a chat, tap the Contacts icon. To revert back to your chat window, tap Chats, and select the person with whom you were chatting. • To know if the contact you are chatting with is responding, look for the message under the text entry area. Using Companion Programs
Working With Contacts
The MSN Messenger window shows all of your messenger contacts at a
glance, divided into
Online
and
Not Online
categories. From this view,
while connected, you can chat, send an e-mail, block the contact from
chatting with you, or delete contacts from your list using the pop-up
menu.
NOTE:
If you already use MSN Messenger on your computer, your

To see others online without them seeing you, tap

Appear Offline

If you block a contact, you appear offline but remain on the blocked
contact's list. To unblock a contact, tap and hold the contact, and then tap

Chatting With Contacts
