Managing Virtual Fabrics 1. Connect to the physical chassis and log in using an account with the chassis-role permission. 2. Enter the lsCfg command to create a logical switch: lscfg --create fabricID [ -base ] In the command syntax, fabricID is the fabric ID that is to be associated with the logical switch. Specify the -base option if the logical switch is to be a base switch. 3. Set the context to the new logical switch. setcontext fabricID | switchname The fabricID parameter is the FID of the logical switch you just created. The switchname parameter is the name assigned to the logical switch. You can only use one parameter at a time. 4. Disable the logical switch. switchdisable 5. Configure the switch attributes, including assigning a unique domain ID. configure 6.
