To disable DHCP for IPv4 on Directors, follow these steps. When you disable DHCP, the previously configured static Ethernet IP address, the subnet mask, and the default gateway addresses are restored as active configuration. ∙ In interactive mode: switch:admin>ipaddrset -chassis DHCP [On]:off IP address is being changed... Done ∙ In a single command: switch:admin>ipaddrset -chassis -ipv4 -add -dhcp off IP address is being changed... Done.
