Steps 1. Disconnect the display-speaker cable from the speaker board and remove the display-speaker cable from the cable-routing guides. 2. Peel the tape that secures the display-cable connector latch to the system board. 3. Lift the latch and disconnect the display cable from the connector on the system board. 4. Lift the latch and disconnect the touch-screen cable from the connector on the system board. 5. Open the display and place the computer on a clean and flat surface. 6. Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) and the screw (M2x4) that secure the left display hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 7. Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) and the screw (M2x4) that secure the right display hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 8. Steps
1.

5.

Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) and the screw (M2x4) that secure the left display hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard
assembly.
7.
Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) and the screw (M2x4) that secure the right display hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard
assembly.
8.
Gently lift the display assembly off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
