Requirements for use: a network interface controller (NIC) that supports Remote Wake Up in each system; enablement of the Remote Wake Up option in system setup. NOTE: This feature does not work if the system is shut off using a power strip or surge protector. l Remote system alert - sends predetermined messages from the system about its operating condition; for example, alert if computer cover is opened Requirements for use: an integrated NIC that supports remote system alert in each Managed PC system.
