Sensor Type (dropdown menu) This drop down menu allows you to select the type of sensor. The List of sensors with the Sensor Name, Status and Current Reading will be displayed in the list. If you select All Sensors, all the available sensor details will appear else you can choose the sensor type that you want to display in the list. Some examples of other sensors include Temperature Sensors, Fan Sensors, and Voltage Sensors etc. Select a particular sensor from the list. On the right hand side of the screen you can view the Thresholds for this sensor. Thresholds are of six types: 1 Lower Non-Recoverable (LNR) 2 Lower Critical (LC) 3 Lower Non-Critical (LNC) 4 Upper Non-Recoverable (UNR) 5 Upper Critical (UC) 6 Upper Non-Critical (UNC) The threshold states could be • Lower Non-critical - going low • Lower Non-critical - going high • Lower Critical - going low • Lower Critical - going high • Lower Non-recoverable - going low • Lower Non-recoverable - going high • Upper Non-critical - going low • Upper Non-critical - going high • Upper Critical - going low • Upper Critical - going high • Upper Non-recoverable - going low • Upper Non-recoverable - going high A graphical view of these events (Number of event logs vs. Thresholds) can be viewed as shown in the Sensor Readings Page screenshot. 22
