5 PowerVault NX3500 Event Monitoring You can monitor your Dell PowerVault NX3500 system by detecting normal and abnormal events within your system using the Event Viewer utility. You can define various queries to search for specific types of events, or use the predefined queries (Current, Major-Critical and Remote Replication). 1 Click Event Viewer in the Admin tabs to access the Event Viewer page. 2 Choose an existing query, or create a query by clicking Filter in the Action bar. The following are the default (predefined) queries: • Current: displays the most recent events. • Major-Critical: displays the events most crucial to the functioning of the system. • Remote Replication: displays events related to backup of data. When you click on a specific entry (row) in the Event Viewer page, an Event Details window opens providing you with more information about this entry. Monitoring
You can monitor your Dell PowerVault NX3500 system by detecting normal

Event Viewer
