1 screws (4) 3 display bezel 2 rubber pads (4) Replacing the Display Bezel 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Ensure the display and Mini-Card cables route through the hinge portion of the display bezel, and snap the display bezel onto the display assembly. 3. Replace the four screws that secure the display bezel to the display assembly. 4. Replace the four rubber pads that cover the display bezel screws. 5. Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the Display Assembly). 6. Replace the battery (see Replacing the Battery). CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer. Display Panel Removing the Display Panel 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the display assembly (see Removing the Display Assembly). 3. Remove the display bezel (see Removing the Display Bezel). 4. Remove the four screws that secure the display panel to the display cover. 5. Lift the display panel and turn it over onto a clean surface.

Replacing the Display Bezel

Follow the procedures in

Ensure the display and Mini-Card cables route through the hinge portion of the display bezel, and snap the display bezel onto the display assembly.
3.
Replace the four screws that secure the display bezel to the display assembly.
4.
Replace the four rubber pads that cover the display bezel screws.
