BELT OR BRUSHROLL REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY FROM MOVING PARTS - UNPLUG BEFORE SERVICING. TOOL REQUIRED: PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER For belt replacement (Part # 1-672260- 001) please call 1-800-321-1134 or visit www.royalvacuums.com to locate a dealer nearest you. 1. Remove power nozzle from unit 2. To remove nozzle guard: turn power nozzle over. Remove the five (5) screws (Diagram 1). NOTE: The Diagram 1 Remove nozzle guard. Arrows show location of screws. screws will fall out when the power nozzle is flipped over 3. Flip the power nozzle upright. Gently lift the cover off. 4. Lift and remove brushroll (Diagram 3). 5. Pull out broken belt and replace 1,0 with new belt (Diagram 4). Loop belt around motor shaft and end of brushroll (belt should be on raised area of brushroll without bristles). 5. Insert brushroll into side holder #1 and then #2. Rotate brushroll to make sure belt is not twisted. Diagram 3 7. Replace nozzle guard. Flip cleaner Lift and remove brushroll. over and replace the five (5) screws (Diagram 6). 2. COVER Diagram 2 Lift cover off power nozzle. 4. MOTOR SHAFT 03 DiagraM 4. Pull out broken belt and replace with new belt. 5. #1 #2 Diagram 5 Diagram 6 Insert brushroll into side holder #1 Replace nozzle guard. Rip power noale and then #2. over and replace the five (5) screws. 10

1.
Remove
power
nozzle
from
unit
2.
To
remove
nozzle
guard:
turn
power
nozzle
over.
Remove
the
five
(5)
screws
(Diagram
1).
NOTE:
The
screws
will
fall
out
when
the
power
nozzle
is
flipped
over
3.
Flip
the
power
nozzle
upright.
Gently
lift
the
cover
off.
4.
Lift
and
remove
brushroll
(Diagram
3).
5.
Pull
out
broken
belt
and
replace
with
new
belt
(Diagram
4).
Loop
belt
around
motor
shaft
and
end
of
brushroll
(belt
should
be
on
raised
area
of
brushroll
without
bristles).
5.
Insert
brushroll
into
side
holder
#1
and
then
#2.
Rotate
brushroll
to
make
sure
belt
is
not
twisted.
7.
Replace
nozzle
guard.
Flip
cleaner
over
and
replace
the
five
(5)
screws
