28 DX-19LD150A11/DX-22LD150A11 2 Press or to highlight Settings, then press . The Settings menu opens. Using the DVD player The TV/DVD combo will automatically switch to DVD mode. The "Loading" message appears for a few seconds. 3 Press or to highlight Reset to Default, then press ENTER. The Reset to Default submenu opens. 4 Press or to highlight Yes, then press ENTER. 5 Press MENU to close the on-screen menu. Using the DVD player Your TV/DVD combo's built-in DVD player plays DVDs with the or playable region number marks. DVDs with other region markings are not playable. See page 32 for a list of compatible disc formats. Warning: Keep your fingers clear of the disc slot when loading or unloading a disc. Neglecting to do so may cause serious personal injury. To start disc playback: 1 Press (Power) to turn on the TV/DVD combo. The power LED indicator on the front panel lights blue. 2 Insert a DVD into the disc slot with the label facing forward. The DVD player reads the DVD and displays the opening menu. If you loaded an Audio CD, the file browser screen appears and music playback will automatically start. If you loaded a video CD or DVD and that disc has a root menu, this root menu will be displayed. Press , , , or to navigate the menu options. If there is no root menu, video playback automatically starts. Playback controls • Press VOL + /- to adjust playback volume. • Press (Play / Pause) to temporarily suspend disc playback (still mode). Press it again to continue playback. • Playback navigation controls • Press (Skip reverse) to play the previous title or track. • Press (Fast reverse) to play in fast reverse direction. • Press (Fast forward) to play in fast forward direction. • Press (Skip forward) to play the next title or track. • Press SUBTITLE repeatedly to select a subtitle option. Available options will depend on the subtile index encoded on the disc. • The unit supports playback resume function. If you stopped the disc playback before it is completed, the unit records the stop point. Press (Play/Pause) to resume playback on the previous stop point. If you press (Stop) twice in quick succession or unload the disc, the unit will clear the stop point. • Press (Stop) to stop playback. To remove the disc: 1 Press (Eject) to unload the disc. 2 Wait for the disc to be ejected then remove the disc from the slot.
