Using the control panel To operate the cut sheet feeder manually from the control panel when the printer is in the cut sheet feeder mode, first make sure that the printer is off line. LINE FEED When there is paper in the printer, press this button to feed the paper one line or hold it down to feed the paper continuously. FORM FEED When there is no paper in the printer, press this button to load paper from the cut sheet feeder. When there is paper in the printer, press this button to eject the sheet. LOAD/EJECT When there is no paper in the printer, press this button to load the paper from the cut sheet feeder. When there is paper in the printer, press this button to eject the sheet. Using software The following commands cause the printer to eject the sheet in the printer without loading the next sheet. FF: Form feed ESC EM R: Ejects a sheet in the cut sheet feeder mode Note: The ESC EM command is a software command used to control the operation of the cut sheet feeder. when the printer is in the cut sheet feeder
mode,

button to feed the paper
