PriorityFax 3000 Manual You can use this feature in certain cases if the document you are sending is unusually dark or light. If the document is light, choose light; if the documentis dark, choose dark. Use this procedure only with fine resolution. In standard resolution, the PriorityFax automatically adjusts the contrast, and in photo resolution, the contrast cannot be adjusted. To select dark or light, follow the steps below: Insert the document face down in the feeder. The ready display appears. Press FUNCTION. Press 2. You see the following display: Press the * cursor key to choose dark or the # cursor key to choose light. Press SET twice to return to the ready display. Send the document. Remember that this changes the contrast for only one document. To change it permanently, see page 4-3. 2-10
