Getting Started Conventions Command Prompts In the default configuration, your switch displays a CLI prompt similar to the following examples: ProCurve 6120G/XG Blade Switch# ProCurve 6120XG Blade Switch# To simplify recognition, this guide uses ProCurve to represent command prompts. For example: ProCurve# (You can use the hostname command to change the text in the CLI prompt.) Screen Simulations Displayed Text. Figures containing simulated screen text and command output look like this: ProCurve> show version Image stamp: /sw/code/build/vern Jul 27 2010 13:42:40 Z.14.04.0001 1037 Boot Image: Primary Build Options: QA Watchdog: ENABLED Figure 1-1. For example: ProCurve(config)# clear public-key ProCurve(config)# show ip client-public-key show_client_public_key: cannot stat keyfile Configuration and Operation Examples Keys Simulations of actual keys use a bold, sans-serif typeface with square brackets.
