Converged Enhanced Ethernet on the HP ProCurve 6120XG Switch Configuring Traffic Templates ProCurve(config)# int all ProCurve(eth-1-24)# policy traffic-template cee-tcgt This command will modify the current running configuration, will execute 'write memory' to replace the startup configuration, then reboot. Continue? [y/n] y The traffic template named "cee-tcgt" is applied to all the ports in the module or switch. Figure 6-3. Example of Applying the CEE Traffic Template to a Switch You should always check the traffic template status using the show qos traffictemplate command to make sure that the template is valid. Invalid templates cannot be applied to ports. Conditions that cause a traffic template status to be invalid are: ■ Duplicate traffic group ids within the traffic template. ■ Priorities not mapped to one of the queues, for example, if you deleted a priority from one queue and did not assign it to another queue. The mapping of 802.1p priorities to outbound port queues for the default ceetcgt traffic template is shown in table 6-1. Table 6-1.
