If you replace the module and then receive a warning message, remove the module to restore device functionality, and then contact technical support. Before removing the WWAN module, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 38). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 38). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39). Remove the WWAN module: 1. Disconnect the WWAN antenna cables (1) from the terminals on the WWAN module. 2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (2) that secures the WWAN module to the bottom cover. (The WWAN module tilts up.) 3. Remove the WWAN module (3) by pulling the module away from the slot at an angle. NOTE: Models have either one or two WLAN antennas. On models with two antennas, the #1 white WLAN antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Main terminal.
