3. Remove the SIM card from the SIM card holder (1). Rotate the system board up (2), and then remove the system board from the computer (3). Reverse this procedure to install the system board. Heat sink and fan assembly To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations. Table 5-11 Heat sink descriptions and part numbers Description Heat sink with fan Thermal pad kit Spare part number N11560-001 N19698-001 Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 38). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 38). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39). Remove the heat sink: 1.
