You can resynchronize the database on your system with the database on the serial console switch from this category. Modifying server names for serial console switches The Servers category can be used to modify the port on the serial console switch that the server is connected to and in the HP IP Console Viewer main window. 1. From the Manage Console Switch window, select Servers. 2. Highlight the port in the Servers column that you want to modify. You can modify only one port at a time. 3. Click Modify. The Modify dialog box appears with the current name of the server as stored in both the console switch and the client database (not necessarily the same). 4. Enter the new name of the server in the New Name: field. 5. Click OK to change the server name. 6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for every server name that you want to change. 7.
