IMPORTANT: The HP IP Console Switch names must always be synchronized with the names used for associated computer account objects in the directory LDAP Directory Service. It is also important to note that active directory allows multiple computer accounts to have the exact same name, as long as each account is in a different domain from the others. When using the Group query mode, it is important to have precisely one account for each console switch and precisely one account for each attached server. If multiple accounts in the Active Directory forest are allowed to have the same name, unexpected failures can occur when using the Group query mode. 6. Select SNMP to change the console switch name.
