This protects the connector pins from being bent. Disconnect the LCD cables, as follows: 1. Pull the connector of the twisted-pair cable straight back in the direction shown in Figure 2-9. 2. Lift up on the top flap of the ribbon cable connector, and then pull the connector straight back in the direction of the arrow shown in Figure 2-9. 18

Disconnect the LCD Cables
A ribbon cable and a twisted-pair cable connect the LCD to the front panel board,

CAUTION
When disconnecting the LCD cables, pull the connector

Disconnect the LCD cables, as follows:
1.
