Chapter 4 Installing into the Rack Before you lift the HP NetServer, remove the power supply modules from the rear of the HP NetServer to reduce the weight and improve stability, as shown in Figure 4-1. High electrical charges may be stored in the module even after it has been removed. Fire or bodily injury may result if terminals are short-circuited. To remove a power supply module: 1. Before you lift the HP NetServer, remove the power supply modules from the rear
of the HP NetServer to reduce the weight and improve stability, as shown in
Figure 4-1.

WARNING
Do not touch any metal object to the power supply connector

To remove a power supply module:
1.
Pull down on the handle until power supply module ejects.
2.
Grasp the handle and pull module out of bay.
