Managing Battery Power Monitoring Battery Power CAUTION To replace the battery If you have any unsaved data, it (and your current work session) will be lost when you remove the battery unless the computer is connected to ac power. Also, you should wait at least 3 seconds after inserting the battery before you unplug the ac adapter. 1. Important. Save your work. 2. Plug in the ac adapter. -or- From the Start menu, shut down the OmniBook. 3. Slide the battery's front panel to the right, as shown. 4. Pull the battery out of the bay. 5. With the front panel in the open position, slide the charged battery into the OmniBook until it is flush with the unit. Reference Guide 55

Plug in the ac adapter.

From the Start menu, shut down the OmniBook.
3.
Slide the battery’s front panel to the right, as shown.
4.
Pull the battery out of the bay.
5.
With the front panel in the open position, slide the charged battery into the OmniBook
until it is flush with the unit.
